"The Free" nominated for Prix Europa 2022

Spotify's audio drama De fria has been nominated for Prix Europa in the Radio Fiction category. The series is produced by Munck Studios.

Prix ​​Europa is a festival for radio, TV and internet productions. Since 1987, the prize has been awarded to Europe's best media productions.

The Free is an eight-part audio drama about a couple, Matilda and Rami. Together with some friends, they start a collective on a farm. When the money starts to run out, they bring in a group of strangers led by Lukas and Aurora, in order to pay the rent. But the new guests soon become a problem and Matilda soon has to fight for her life.

The series is recorded on a farm outside Stockholm and is made in 8D - a technology that enables a surround experience in headphones.

The main roles are held by Hedda Stiernstedt (Matilda), Alexander Abdallah (Rami), Julia Marko-Nord (Aurora) and Felix Sandman (Lukas). Director: Peter Grönlund.
